February Brunch: Cecilia's Cafe
Written by Tiffany Pierce
Tuesday, 26 January 2010

Our brunch for Feb. 6 will be enjoying authentic southwestern cuisine at Cecilia's Cafe, downtown on 6th Street and Silver.  Since we generally have such large brunch attendance, Cecilia will be closing the restaurant for our group!  The cafe has received an Outstanding Restaurant award in Albuquerque and was featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.  A video and menu are available at www.ceciliascafe.com.  Separate checks will be given and an 18% gratuity will be added.  Please RSVP with Ann Rose.

February Driving Activity
Written by Tiffany Pierce, on behalf of Sam Sharp
Saturday, 30 January 2010

Since winter drives so often get disrupted by weather and everyone had so much fun at the race track in January, the February event will be an outing to the indoor go-kart track.  http://www.abqkarting.com/ kartracing.aspx

We'll meet at noon on Saturday, Feb 20 at a burger joint (location provided later) and then go to the track.  Hopefully we will have enough drivers for the discounted prices.  This is something the ladies and kids can do as well, as long as the kids are 7 years old and 51 inches tall.  It will be a fun afternoon.  Hope to see you there!
